Recently, an annual meeting was held both online and offline in Shenzhen and Hong Kong simultaneously by Hong Kong Economic Herald and the Alliance of the Belt and Road Economic Development and Free Trade Zones. On the meeting, the Chenzhou area of China (Hunan) Free Trade Zone was awarded the Model of Optimized Business Environment.
Since Chenzhou Area was established, it has been aiming at optimizing the business environment, with efforts made to formulate the business environment policies, optimize processes, etc..
As a result, it has made remarkable achievements, winning the award after the affirmation of all parties in the evaluation on this annual meeting.
There are no restrictions on access, approval and fees in the area, making enterprises settle in here with more convenience, more confidence and faster speed. As of the end of November last year, there were more than 1,336 enterprises in the zone.
Chenzhou Area strives to achieve the goal of "have things done in one time", allowing 230 common affairs to be handled across provinces, building a government affairs platform for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao metropolitan area, improving integrated services, and exploring market integration, standard consistency, data sharing and platform interoperability with Guangdong Province by selecting a number of common affairs related to enterprises. It lowers the threshold for entries, making it possible that it only takes 1 working day to start up an enterprise and 1 hour to issue a business license.
Chenzhou Area has done a good job in ensuring the optimization of the business environment. It made a positive list of ten items and a negative list of eight items in line with government-business relationships, which comprehensively regulate the relationships, and strictly supervise the business environment.
Since the opening of the free trade zone, the first batch of monitoring spots for optimizing the business environment have been established among 29 enterprises.
The monitoring spots collect and deal with suggestions, and up to now a total of 24 enterprise demands and suggestions have been resolved and adopted in optimizing the business environment.
